  • 2023 ASNA Board of Directors Slate Approved by 2022 Board.

    · ASNA Board,ASNA Membership

On Friday, November 18th, the 2022 ASNA Board of Directors approved the 2023 slate of directors to be presented and approved by the ASNA General membership at the first general members meeting of 2023.

Earlier this fall ASNA President Jason Jervis notified the board that 2022 was to be his final year in a four year term limit Jason set for himself to serve as ASNA President . ASNA's Vice President Cynthia Chapman who served alongside Jason, has also decided to step down after four years serving as ASNA's VP, Volunteer Coordinator, and Producer of Alamo Scare. Both Cynthia and Jason have given a tremendous amount of their time resurrecting ASNA's brand and we congradulate them both on their undeniable success as Alamo Square community leaders.

In 2023 the ASNA board will also see the departure of long time board member, former ASNA President, and Divisadero corridor advocate, Lisa Zahner. We thank Lisa for her many years of service working to improve Alamo Square and advocating for the improvement of Divisadero street. We wish Lisa continued success in her future endeavors and look forward to her continued local impact.

The ASNA board will also see the departure of board member Ellie Blume, and ASNA sponsor as well as board member, Khalil Bey. We wish Ellie the best of luck embarking on a new adventure in their new home out in the Sunset. We wish Khalil and his family best of luck on his future endeavors and thank both directors for their service to the community.

The 2023 ASNA Board of Directors includes names of ASNA members who've been involved in various volunteer capacities over the past few years. Anesu Dhilwayo, Jennie Feldman, Nick Danford, and Drew Gregory will join the ASNA board as freshman directors in the coming year. We look forward to welcoming each of these neighbors to the board next year.
