It's not a sight we get to see often, but on Sunday, February 21st an Italianate style home called the Englander House was moved from 807 Franklin Street where it stood for 141 years, to its new home at 635 Fulton Street. The Englander House was built in the 1880's and will eventually be restored by the owner. The moving plan spanned 8 years of planning with the city (and a lot of cash) to make the relocation happen. The vacant lot at 807 Franklin Street will be used to construct 48 much new housing units.
