· Events,Park Preservation,Alamo Square Park,SF Rec and Park Dept,SF Parks

The Alamo Square Neighborhood Association through their "Trees For Future Generations" initiative that began in 2016, has sponsored two historic tree planting events closing out another great year of community building.

ASNA donated nearly $8000 in brand new trees and tree-planting supplies for the events. The first planting took place Saturday, November 3rd with over 54 volunteers coming together to plant 30 beautiful Monterey Cyprus trees.

More than 50 community volunteers came out to plant beautiful trees around the park.

Check out a video of the event here.

You can join us at the second 2022 tree planting on Saturday, December 3rd from 10am-12pm at Alamo Square.
